Hello folks,I'm presently restoring a 95 TomCat X 80,which I intend to shoot with fingers It has the medium cam with a #12 (28''-29'') draw module at 65% let off.It is slightly long for me, by about an inch My question is , is there any way to shorten it buy about an inch, without having to go to a smaller cam and the short draw modules.Say maybe trying the 28''-29'' modules in 50 % letoff?would that work?

According to what you have said and the charts to lower the draw length on your bow an inch would require going to a the small cam and orange power cables and orange yoke cables.

i am shooting a talon with strike outboards and short cams and drawing 28" the bow will draw 32" i set the pdc @ 28" and put 80% mods in it to get 60% let off at my draw length you can play around with the pdc's and other mods. to get one inch shorter @ the let off you want but there is a lot of mods. out there and each can be cut to do differant things

Those are the draw stops that come on the bows. Your bow should have the teardrop shaped stops that came on the kcams.

The draw modules determine the amount of let off and at when the let off starts. Your bow would need the changes i listed to lower the draw length by an inch. Once your bow is set up with the correct modules you can then use the draw stops to set your draw length on your bow.

Hello Poco, go to this link and you will see the draw stops shown as the pdc on the nomaclature picture of the bows. It will be on page one.

You can also use the newer style stops that mount on the pylons. If you have any questions please feel free to call.
